Step-by-step guide on how to complete Woody's quest and craft the Blanket Fort.
One of Toy Story's most iconic lines is "You've got a friend in me," thanks to its theme song of the same name. In this Disney Dreamlight Valley quest, you'll be lending some of your friendship to Woody. He's moved into the Valley, but his combination carousel and home is still having some issues with the lighting.

Turns out, it's a magical issue, and who better to help than you and your Dreamlight Magic? In this guide, we'll show you how to start and complete Woody's friendship quest, The Illumination, and use your Dreamlight magic to help him fully fix up his home.
To unlock this quest, you'll need Woody at friendship level 10, have both Ariel and Moana unlocked, and have progressed through a few of Mother Gothel's quests. This requires unlocking the Glade of Trust.
Once you've hit the requirements, speak to Woody. He'll mention how the toy chest in his Carousel seems key to getting the lights back working, and he wants you to check it out. Go into his home and interact with the toy chest on the left side of the room.
A diary entry will pop out of it. Pick it up, and you'll get a pretty big hint as to what will fix the lights: the magic of childhood memories. Speak to Woody again, and you two will figure out who to talk to.
To get the magic you need, you'll need to speak to Ariel, Moana, and Kristoff.
Locate each of them on the map, talk to them, and they'll each hand over an important item from their childhood: a Music Box, a Tiny Troll Figure, and a Conch.
Once you have all three items, ensure they're in your inventory and bring them back to Woody.
Speak to Woody, and he'll say that the childhood items alone weren't enough: the two of you must also put in an important childhood memory. He'll suggest making a Blanket Fort, inviting some friends to play on it, and then taking a photo of it.
To craft the Blanket Fort, you'll need Softwood, Cotton, Fabric, Rope, and Glass.
Crafting Material
How To Obtain
Softwood x40
Can be found beneath trees in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadows, Forest of Valor, Dazzling Beach, and Glade of Trust. Can also be dropped by digging up tree stumps.
Cotton x5
Can be purchased or grown from Goofy's stall in Sunlit Plateau.
Fabric x4
Crafted from Cotton at any crafting bench. Can occasionally be found in Kristoff's upgraded stall if his quest, The Broken Sled, is completed.
Rope x4
Crafted with eight Fiber at a crafting bench. Fiber can be made from Seaweed at the same location.
Glass x5
Crafted with five Sand and one Coal at a crafting bench. Can also be found at Kristoff's upgraded stall on occasion. Sand can be dug up at Dazzling Beach or when breaking sea debris.
After getting the materials, head to a crafting bench and go to the Furniture tab. Craft the Blanket Fort, then your quest will update.
You'll need to place the Blanket Fort somewhere. Optionally, you can put on some clothes in the Playful category such as Frilly Pink Pants or Turquoise Woven Shorts, for example.
Go into your inventory, then to the Furniture tab, and put the Blanket Fort down wherever you'd like. Once you do, your screen will cut to black, and you'll teleport to wherever it was placed.
Woody and Buzz will be waiting for you, and you'll need to take a photo with them. Once you do, Woody will run off, and you'll need to meet up with him.
Speak to Woody outside his Carousel, and he'll tell you the last thing you'll need is a magical phrase. You'll get the option to pick between two of Buzz and Woody's iconic phrases and a little nod to a character from Toy Story, Rex.
Speak the phrase and thanks to the magic, the lights of the Carousel will turn back on, and Woody's home will be back to its former self.
Woody will thank you, give you back the Blanket Fort to keep as a furniture item, and reward you with the exclusive Pull-String back accessory as a symbol of your friendship and bond.
